Verify attendance, not just a clock-in

Establish that the right person was present where they were expected to be.

The difference

Know who was there

Attendance records are useful when an organisation needs to know who was expected and who actually attended.

Sojaly combines verified identity with presence and location verification to support workflows where physical presence matters.

How presence is proven

Ways to record a verified presence

A station scans the person

A supervisor's phone or a fixed station verifies the person's Sojaly ID on the spot — the classic roll-call, backed by verified identity.

The person scans a rotating station code

A display at the site shows a code that changes every few seconds. Scanning it with your own phone proves you were in front of that display at that moment — a photographed or forwarded code is already stale.

Patrol and duty rounds

Guards, cleaners and facility teams scan rotating codes at each checkpoint, so a round is a sequence of verified presences rather than a signature on a sheet.

Teaching sessions and lecture halls

A lecturer scans the hall's code at the start and end of a session, so the institution can see which sessions were actually held. The same display can take student scans to counter proxy attendance.

Field visits attached to the work

Technicians, inspectors and community workers prove they were at the site their report or invoice claims — useful anywhere the record is only as good as the visit behind it.

Citizen-visible service desks

A code at a public service desk lets the person being served scan to call for the officer. If nobody answers, the unanswered knock escalates to the supervisor and counts in the desk's service record.

Without surveillance

The person's phone is not tracked. There is no background location and no geofencing of anyone's day — presence is asserted only at the moment the person chooses to scan.

Where it applies

For people and places

Use attendance verification where an organisation needs to establish that a particular person was present at a particular place.

For public institutions, the same machinery turns service delivery into something measurable — see Sojaly for governments.
